Bike 6 miles – September 29,2009

Garmin Connect – Activity Details for Bike Warm-up: 10 minute easy spin. Keep HR below 140. After 10 minutes, build effort and ride 140-155. The wind picked up the second half, I also miscalculated my lap distance, shorted myself a little under a mile.

Three Simple Strength Training Exercises For Triathletes

Now that I have seriously started training for my first Triathlon (Sprint) I was wondering do I need to start Strength Train? I have not hit a weight room in over three years, in MMA we primarily focus on our core and work it into each session. As with MMA Triathletes focus on the core as well, I found a nice quick video via triathlon.competitor.com which show three easy exercise.
